Co-directors Edward Snajdr (cultural anthropologist) and
Dmitriy Vyortkin (international relations specialist).
An action research project on
improving the response to domestic violence in the Republic
of Kazakhstan. Worked with government officials and non-governmental
organizations to enhance services for victims and police
response to offenders. Conducted workshops, focus groups,
and interviews; developed police curriculum and completed
police training.

Randomly selected 25% of girls in all medium and high-risk
residential facilities in Florida. Completed in-depth interviews
and obtained personal and criminal histories.
