Welcome!
This site provides a brief summary of my work as an instructor,
speaker, consultant,
and writer. Please click
on the links to the left for details.
I
have a Ph.D. in Criminology. My formal education
is supplemented by certifications, international travel, and
practical experience. One valuable experience was backpacking
around the world for a year. I believe in CANI ~
constant and never-ending improvement. Each day offers opportunities
for learning, growing, and contributing.
My passion is Peacemaking Circles and Restorative
Action. I founded and am president of Peace of
the Circle Transformational Services, an international
consultancy company. My goal is to inspire and empower leaders
to transform conflict and build healthy, productive relationships.
I work with businesses, government agencies, organizations,
and communities.
Transforming Conflict & Building
Relationships
I love facilitating people’s learning and have over
fifteen years of experience. I offer dynamic workshops and
training. At the core of what I do is Circles - one of the
most powerful ways to have authentic conversations. I also
utilize a variety of tools and techniques to fully meet the
needs of clients, for example Appreciative Inquiry, World
Café, Non-Violent Communication, and Problem-Based
Learning.
I have a collaborative partnership with Tomato Inc (www.tomato.ch),
a Risk and Cash Management Company in Switzerland. I offer
workshops in Zurich for CEOs, CFOs, and other interested parties
across Europe.
I also enjoy public speaking and have a prolific record of
presenting at regional, national, and international forums.
For example, I was an invited speaker at the 10th United Nations
Congress on the Prevention of Crime and the Treatment of Offenders
in Vienna in 2000.
Thank you for your interest in my work. Please feel free
to contact me. I offer facilitation, workshops, speaking engagements,
and private consulting. For example:
- Introduction to Restorative Justice
- Circle Training
- Restorative Practices for Businesses and Organizations
I tailor my services to your specific interests and needs.
I consider myself a bridge between your current situation
and what is possible.
Christina Baldwin said:
“There are really only two kinds of conflict: conflicts
with people who will step forward and work to resolve the
issue, and conflicts with people who escalates the issue.
The actual issue is far less significant than our attitude
toward problem solving.”
Remember to enjoy those magic moments that each day offers.
Yours Truly,
Evelyn
